Mind-blowing Bill Proposed to Regulate Tech Companies’ Use of AI in Data Collection

Opponents argue that the BROWSER Act might discourage innovation in the industry, which could limit consumer choice and growth.

End result, the BROWSER Act has pros and cons, like every other proposed regulation. However, consumers’ safety and privacy should come first. While innovation and growth are essential, companies should not disregard privacy rights. Regulating data collection will bring about standardization and transparency, which is beneficial to both companies and consumers.
